On the road

Killer show last night at the legendary Water Street Cafe. The band members all agreed that the unique stage setup and nifty atmosphere helped set the tone for kicked up set list. The band played two one hour sets full filled with oldies and goodies. The guys played many extended versions of every song taking extra solos and trying out some new dynamics on the spot. Hoyt, EVG and Nate all tried out some of the in house equipment giving them a different ideas to try out. Clearly improvisation was in the air as they opened with a new song that has no name or lyrics but they made it seem as if they have been playing it for months.

Nate's string broke during "The Life" so Matt and the band cleverly made a song up on the spot while Nate crafted in some blues style lyrics. During this non-named and made up tune, Matt and Nate played a little "call and answer" between the guitar and harmonica. The audience received great music and the band shared stories of their experiences playing on the road for the last two years. Thanks to everyone who showed...
See you all at the next one
