Nate and Matt stopped in at the legendary Newport Blues Cafe weds night doing a quick 45 min set for Matt Hartke. The boys stuck to two acoustic guitars opening with a great rendition of "Can't Rely On". Even though Hoyt was not present for a house crumbling drum solo on "Darling Divine" it didnt seem to matter because Nate was able to let his his vocals go for awhile to make up. EVG was a cheerleader weds night sidelined in the crowd watching his fellow bandmates play some older and rare tunes like "Demons". It was a pleasant surprise to say the least and the band and crew are looking foward to a slow weekend because of a little birdie who is getting married. We all would like to wish him the best. See you all Thurs night at the Water street Cafe
