On the Road: Temple CD Release Party

Once again mother nature has put a hold on the Nate Mott Band Saturday double header. The Saturday day show at Atlantic Beach Club was put on hold do to weather conditions. We are currently working with Atlantic Beach Club for a rescheduled date. We may be able to squeeze one in this fall but if not the NMB wagon will show up in surely for a few dates in the summer of 2009. Stay tuned.

Because of the cancellation, NMB and crew were able to show up early to Temple in Providence and prep for what turned out to be an outstanding show. If you were able to find a spot in the venue than you most likely did not stop dancing and screaming for two auxiliary sets of sweet music. NMB pounded the audience with one of the best shows of their bright young careers. At the end of "Would you stop falling", Nate explained the tale behind the lyrics in the song. To paraphrase, Nate described how he wrote the song with as much energy as his band had just played with. He said it is about someone very important in his life, whom should always try and keep their head up no matter what life brings.

As the set continued the three front man joined together singing on a single microphone during "Say it" sending the crowd into a small frenzy. The house was closed out with a extended "Darling Divine" epic version where Hoyt solidified a great drum solo before EVG, Matt and Nate entered the stage. The energy in Temple was felt by both the band, fans and anyone who was in radius of the event. The band mates stayed for awhile after encore, signing cds and chatting with supporters thanking them for their cheers and companionship.

We are all looking forward to a quiet weekend coming up with only one lone private show. However, we shall see you all at the Water Street Cafe Sept. 25 followed by the Rhino Bar in Newport on Friday Sept 26th.

Until then be safe...

Cheers

NMB Road Crew
