On The Road: Cape Cod Seafood Festival

Nate and Matt played harder than it was raining by crushing two overloaded acoustic sets of "wicked good" music in Chatham Sat night. The crowd stuffed their face with over 1,000 pounds of seafood as the boys hit the stage. The food line then seemingly grew smaller and the crowd near the stage quadrupled in size! Fans are really showing that they enjoy the acoustic version of "say it" by screaming the chorus to help give some depth the the back up vocals. Everyone was stoked to hear some older songs such as "one summer breeze". Matt's delay effects rang nicely as they played a extra long version of the old song. During set break, Nate and Matt went outside and tried a game the locals call "Buckets". Two people stand on their own bucket. Once their hands clap together over their head, they rush to pick up a long rope on the ground and try to pull the opponent off their bucket without falling off their own (Basically tug of war on a bucket). The game is not as much about brute strength as it about balance and strategy. Needless to say Nate and Matt had an absolute blast playing this game in the pouring rain with the locals and went back on stage soaking wet to play a short and certainly sweet set. What a night. Nate and Matt offered their equipment and stage to some fellow musicians and someone even had a set of bongos. Eating Drinking and great music. Life doesn't really get much better than that! Thank you for everyone who braved the weather to come and check out the show.

Cheers,

NMB Road Crew
