The Nate Mott Band played to over 5,000 people on Sunday morning opening up for the New England Patriots football game. The boys rocked the house with new and old tunes alike. Smashing out some brand new songs like "You Wanna", "Method to the Maddness", and Mind over Matter", The Band encored with the rocking new song "Half Naked" in which Nate Mott made up half of the lyrics do to the fact the song has yet to be fully written. The band keeps begging Nate to make up the lyrics on the spot because they enjoy playing the ballad so much. There is a great intro groovy jam that features a funky bass line with a Matthew Rutler guitar melody carrying into the mega loud opening. The band does some sort of call and respond with Rutler that eventually leads into Nate singing with a little "might" in his tone before connecting with a chorus that resembles something similar to Muse. All in all the song is disgustingly good and you should get to the next show to hear it because waiting for a recording of it is absurd! You should see it then wait for the record and then buy it. BOOOOOM!
The pregame show was fantastic. The guys made it into the game and out early enough to be on the beach for some surf before the sun went down. See you all there next year.
Looking into the remainder of the fall the band plans to release a third music video for "Underneath the Palms" in support of their latest studio album "You Wanna". There have been some rumors about an acoustic release closer to Christmas with another music video before the band gets back into the studio for their 3rd studio album.
Anyways happy fall. Start thinking about a Halloween costume if you haven't already because the band will be playing at Judge Roy Bean on Halloween night. Costumes a must. Don't be shy. See you all there.
Cheers,
The Road Crew
