Music Video a Success!

This past weekend, NMB and a film crew rolled into town. After three very long days of filming on the street, reserving parking spots, filming in apartments, and taking over Judge Roy Bean, the band wrapped principle photography on three music videos. The band chose the new songs "Vast Expanses" and "Say it". "Vast Expanses" was directed by Ramses Del Heirro and will feature cuts from the movie "Talking Room" directed by Ramses Del Heirro which also starred lead guitarist Matthew Rutler, Nate Mott and the road manager Matthew Lee Einzig. The movie and video are do out later this spring.

"Say it" music video was directed by Tim Rowcroft and is more of a comedy featuring the doing some outrageous things besides playing their instruments. There will be two version of the "Say it" video. All three videos will be released this upcoming spring/summer when the band puts out their second album.

Thank you to all that participated in the Sunday scenes at the Bean. Band members and crew all agreed that it was one of the most fun and brightest days they ever had on a set. There was alot of energy and good spirit in the room. Tons of laughs all around. NMB would also like to thank the town of Bristol and all the location owners for allowing the film production to go on. We look forward to upcoming shows, album release and the screening of these great music videos.

See you all on Thurs night at Pop in Newport on Broadway.

Cheers,

One the Road: ICE CHEST

DAMN! What a night over there in Fairhaven. Surreal. If there was any band that could take down a biker hangout with some chill tunes. its NMB. The guys rocked on for and eternity length show. During, Darling Divine, post drum solo, Nate walked up to the mic and asked the crowd for assistance in singing. He then started singing a small line and the crowd joined along. Before you know it Nate is harmonizing with the audience as they erupt into a small frenzy.

A great night to say the least......

The band is looking forward to a few weeks off to concentrate on finishing up their follow studio album and to film their very first music video.

See you all in the sailing capital of the world on February 26th: POP, Newport

Cheers,

On the Road: Water Street

It might have been below 20 outside but the boys were playing hot inside Water Street to a jam packed crowd. The night was stellar from the start. The gig lights shined down on the band to help set the tone. At one point, Nate joked to the crowd that usually one of the members catch the old frog in the throat, but never before has the entire band played a show with some type of illness lingering. The guys must have taken their NyQuil cause never at any point was the show lacking. "Demons" continues to be a new band favorite. Demons is an old song that Matthew Rutler and Nate Mott use to play back in the day when they were doing acoustic shows. One night on stage the boys decided, on a whim to give it an old crack o lacking. For some reason that night it all just came together and it has been in the set list ever since. Matthew Rutler and Evan Van Gorder for the last couple of shows have been jumping up on stage and introducing the song together quietly, then Nate Mott steps in and starts layering. Before you know it the song breaks into a groovy jam as the drums back up with a strong rock beat.

Anyways, cool night all around. Bundle up out there. See you all tomorrow night at the Ice Chest.

Cheers,
