It is no surprise to anyone that Nate Mott and Matthew Rutler do not sit still for long. Currently the boys are writing and working on their new album/tour for summer 09. However, they have also attached themselves to a really sweet side project. Just before 2008 closed, Nate Mott and Matthew Rutler were featured in a movie called "Talking Room" directed by Ramses Del Hierro. The movie was filmed outside of Boston. Matthew Rutler and the roadie played two soldiers and you'll have to wait and see the movie to check out Nate's roll. The two as well as the band's roadie shall be seen on screen sometime in 2009. In addition to being featured in the movie, the boys are writing and recording the music for the film. Supposedly, the track is complete different than anything they have recorded in the past and will feature a few guest artists. Be sure to look out for it. Coming soon......
Cheers

Here's to you: New Years Eve, Movie Project, New Album
Happy New Year. Good bye to 2008 hello to 2009. NMB would like to thank everyone; staff, friends, family, and fans for quite an amazing year. Having said that, we are looking forward to an even more jam packed 2009. There are tons of projects in the air. Look for a busy gig schedule, music video, new album, this summer. Nate Mott Band are currently working diligently in the studio hoping to release June 1st 2009. Email the band and let us know if you would like us to come to your area. Give us the venue and the NMBwagon will pull into your area this year.
New Years Eve
Gig was great. Once again, the band battled mother nature, trucking through a snow storm to play 3 full hours of great tunes. At one point the band stepped off allowing Nate Mott to pull the rare tune "Hollow" out for one of the first live plays. Then Matthew Rutler jumped out grabbed the electric and the two played a rendition of "Demons". The band received tons of cheers for the new song "Vast Expanses" which is rapidly becoming a crowd favorite. Thanks to all who dared the weather. See you all this Sat atTazza in Providence.
Cheers,
